The Mississippi Gulf Coast has a great deal to offer, from old oak trees draped with Spanish moss, to art museums and casinos! There are many pleasant neighborhoods in all price ranges, from Pascagoula to Waveland.

Employment opportunities are endless in this beautiful area. Keesler Air Force Base, shipbuilding, manufacturing, numerous opportunities at the casinos, construction, petroleum fuels, paper products, and seafood processing represent just some of the fields. Other companies, such as Chevron, also provide employment for the area's well-trained work force.

Public schools on the Mississippi Gulf Coast consistently rank within the top 20% in the State and compare favorably with nationwide scores. The average student to teacher ratio is 16:1. Schools here generally begin in August and end around June 1.

The hospitable and friendly people are the main assets in our area. Everyone tries to be helpful so visitors feel at home. There are several shopping malls, state-of-the-art movie theaters, loads of wonderful restaurants, and lots to do. There is a wide selection of golf courses, and super park systems, including Gulf Islands National Seashores Park, which also encompasses Ship Island. Outdoorspeople enjoy deep sea fishing excursions via charter boat, among other outdoor sports.

Mississippi's moderate climate encourages outdoor activity. The average temperature in January is 50 degrees, while summers reach into the 90s.
